Pinnacle Data Discovery Terms of Use
Last updated: October 20, 2026
1. What the service is
Pinnacle Data Discovery (the "Service") is a free intake form run by Pinnacle HQ, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Pinnacle", "we", "us"). It asks how much data your company holds. You can type figures in yourself, or an admin can connect a supported tool (such as Google Workspace, Slack, HubSpot, Zoom or Microsoft 365) so the form fills with counts and storage totals read from that tool. The Service runs at data.hqpinnacle.co, and its pages on hqpinnacle.co describe it.
The Service reads totals only, never content, and nothing is sent to Pinnacle until you click "Send to Pinnacle". How we handle data is set out in our Privacy Policy and our connected tools privacy notice, which form part of these terms.
By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you use it for a company, you confirm that you may do so for that company.
2. Acceptable use
Only connect a tool you are authorized to connect, as its owner or an admin, and only for your own company. Do not try to access data that is not yours, get around a security measure, overload or probe the Service, or use it for anything unlawful. Do not submit someone else's details without their permission.
We may refuse or remove submissions, or stop offering the Service, if it is misused.
3. Your figures
The figures in a submission are provided by you: either typed in by you, or read from your own tool and then reviewed, edited and sent by you. You are responsible for checking them before you send them. We rely on them only to review your submission and reply to you.
You keep all rights in your data. Sending a submission does not give Pinnacle any right to your company's data, and it does not create any agreement to buy, sell or license data. Any such agreement would be separate and in writing.
4. Third-party tools
Connected tools are provided by their own companies (for example Google, Slack, HubSpot, Zoom and Microsoft) under their own terms. Pinnacle is not affiliated with or endorsed by them. You can remove Pinnacle Data Discovery from a tool at any time, as described in our connected tools privacy notice.
5. No warranty
The Service is free and provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that figures read from a tool are complete or accurate. Some figures are estimates, and the Service says so where they are.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Pinnacle will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to one hundred US dollars (US$100). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Using the Service after a change means you accept the new terms.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
